Many of us are familiar with the situation when suddenly one misfortune after another happens in our life. There are various serious diseases, discord occurs in the family, financial difficulties appear. In some cases, such troubles can be the result of the wrong actions of the person himself, and sometimes they arise as a result of negative interference from the outside.
As a rule, such a situation becomes the result of a purposeful destruction of a person's energy-information field, or damage. To get rid of the negativity induced on a person, quite often a special ceremony is performed, which has the name of a report, or a reading. Finally, the sermon ends, the prayer service begins. And then quiet cries and groans begin to be heard from all sides. Several people fall to their knees. The girl who was being led away to wash off the nail polish sits down on the bench and begins to howl in a thin voice. Her parents take her away again, but after five minutes they return. She's sick, holding a bag in her hand, spitting into it, then snorting and muttering incoherently in a strange bass voice, not at all like the voice she was howling. The young man, whom his mother was giving water to drink, jumps up and, gasping for air, bends strangely. The priest, Father Herman's assistant, rushes to him and helps his mother to seat him in his place. The church is stuffy and dark, the little boy, who was taken behind the wall, continues to yell. Another childish voice joins him, he promises to burn down the church. Father Herman walks through the crowd and draws oil crosses on the foreheads of the parishioners. At his approach, the young man, who had previously stood motionless, suddenly begins to shout: “Go away, nit, go away!” The priest comes very close, the young man, with a twisted face, twitches and wriggles, the woman who came with him tries to keep him. Father Herman still touches his forehead, and he falls to the floor and remains lying motionless. Father Herman goes further - to the next aisle, where the little boy is still screaming.
By the end of the prayer in the temple becomes lighter. The sun's rays pass through the smoke of incense, a fresh breeze begins to blow. I turn around - it is, they opened the door. Sounds like dog barking are heard from the street. It turns out that these sounds are made by a child. His name is Leva, he is six years old and cannot speak. He only knows how to mumble and bark, and he hardly sleeps, does not feel pain and does not calm down for a second. While I'm talking to his mom, he either falls and starts rolling on the ground, then suddenly throws himself on the fence and starts climbing up, so we rush to catch him together.
“I don’t know what to do with him,” my mother says. - The psychiatrist says that Leo is absolutely healthy, but you look at him. I can't go to work, I have to sit with him. He doesn't seem to understand or feel anything. Maybe I hurt and not notice. My mother-in-law told me to try to bring him here, but I don’t know what else to do. We have arrived from Yaroslavl. Father Herman is a legend of Sergiev Posad, people from different cities (and, as he himself claims, even from different countries) come to him since Soviet times.

“Even before the arrival of the archimandrite, the attendant had prepared a box of a fairly decent size, in which the believers memorized the twisted notes with requests, and wrapped the money in them. Looking closely, I noticed that they put no less than 300-500 rubles, more often a thousand or even more. But it was quite a long time ago, then these amounts were more significant than now, - says Alexander. — When Father Herman appeared, he first of all showed the parishioners to this box: here, they say, where the donations should be put. In general, nothing happened in me during the service, I did not feel anything. Only now my attitude towards the church began to change after that, far from being for the better.
Olga Suskina came to the church of Peter and Paul when her son's friend needed medical help. She began to collect money for the operation and went to pray that she would be able to collect the required amount.
It was a regular service. I was so worried about the boy (he has a heart defect) that I started crying during the prayer,” she recalls. “Suddenly a woman from the church shop came up to me and said that when I cry, I “feed the demons.” Then she sat me down on a bench, brought some water and began to tell some strange things. As if I can't communicate with dogs, because through them a demon can enter me. I then thought she was crazy. And she also gave me a number, said that I needed an individual report from Father Herman and that I called him. On the way home on the train, something terrible began to happen to me. I began to feel bad, then for another five days I could not sleep, I imagined something, there was some kind of panic. Finally my son called that number. He was told: “Do you understand that it will be necessary to donate money to the temple?” He did not specify the amount. In the end, I took it and called an ambulance myself. I was taken to a psychiatric hospital with my symptoms, and by morning I had fully recovered. I've never had anything like it before or since. I read that this happens from hormones, went to the endocrinologist, she told me that I was healthy, I could have been poisoned by something. I then thought: maybe, in general, something was mixed into that water that they gave me to drink?
Schizophrenics and demoniacs
Today there are exorcists not only in Russia. “Until the 18th-19th centuries, there were a lot of so-called “possessed” people,” says psychiatrist Vyacheslav Tarasov. - And then the science of psychiatry began to actively develop, and the more it developed, the less they became. What was taken for demonic possession turned out to be hallucinations. For example, for non-convulsive forms of epilepsy, visions of a mystical and religious nature are very characteristic. Especially if a person grew up in a believing family and heard relevant conversations from childhood. And with schizophrenia, a person can “hear” how the devil communicates with him and pushes him to terrible deeds. The most common disease among the “possessed” is hysteria. It can also be accompanied by feelings of communion with a god or a devil. This is a serious disease, and it requires medical treatment. Teenage girls and older women are most affected. Probably, it is they who come to the reprimands and think that someone has moved into them. At the same time, the rite of mass exorcism can be dangerous even for a completely healthy person. After all, if any of us are placed in a group of people who see hallucinations, most likely, we will begin to see them too.
I recall these words of the psychotherapist in the church of Peter and Paul, where the report from Father Herman ends. Parishioners with enlightened faces leave the church.
