We offer readers some of the testimonies about the miracles, healings and divine visitations that happened to the pilgrims of the Russian St. Panteleimon Monastery on Athos, about which they testified in writing in a notebook for such records.
As the Russian Athos portal has already reported, a book with such testimonies is being prepared for publication in the St. Panteleimon Monastery. The peculiarity of the book is that the entries were made by pilgrims on their own initiative, voluntarily, without leading requests, questions or prompts. They were recorded by pilgrims in a thick common notebook, located in the monastery shop of the Russian monastery on Athos.
This collection contains testimonies of pilgrims recorded by them in the period from 2007 to 2009. In the Panteleimon Monastery on Athos, entries in the common notebook are replenished daily, so each pilgrim can testify to the events of healing and divine visits that happened to him.
Book of Miracles and Healings (Part 1. 2007–2009)

And forgot about it. A week later, I lifted weights at work, the employees reminded me that I was not allowed to lift weights. This year, during Holy Cross Week in the church, the Cross of the Lord was decorated with cut flowers (tulips and daffodils, etc.), which naturally withered after a couple of hours. At the next Sunday service, everyone saw wilted flowers on the lectern at the foot of the Cross, and from above, flowers that came to life by the end of the Liturgy, rose by 10-20 cm.

In 2008, visiting the holy Mount Athos, during a prayer service at the head of St. Panteleimon, asked Fr. Macarius to consecrate oil on an honest head for the healing of possible illnesses of people close to me. In the summer of the same year, I fell ill - I had a temperature, my throat began to hurt more and more, the disease progressed very quickly by the evening. After reading the evening rule, the hope for recovery was gone. Gathering my mental strength, I took a bottle of consecrated oil and venerated the icon of St. Panteleimon (consecrated along with oil), anointed himself and tearfully asked St. Panteleimon about recovery (this was on the day of the memory of the saint). As soon as I lay down on the bed, in just a few seconds, I realized that the disease had left me. Kneeling down, he tearfully thanked the saint for the gift on his memorial day.

After about 20 minutes, I was surprised to find that my neck turned easily and freely to the left and right. I was amazed and began to rotate my head in all directions - the pain really disappeared. While making a pilgrimage on foot from Iveron to the Panteleimon Monastery, they found undelivered notes for mass. They tried to give them to the monks they met, they received only blessings and smiles in return, but they could not help, because they were not sent to the monastery. From long attempts lost main idea which is easier and more reasonable to ask the Abbess of the Mountain for help. After 30 sec. after the prayer, a car with a Greek priest stopped, who confirmed that he was going to Iveron and confirmed with a blessing that he would fulfill our request. Thank God for everything!!

By the grace of God, the Mother of God and St. Panteleimon, and at the same time with Them Father Isidore, who gave me the icon of St. Great Martyr Artemy the Great, I was saved from inevitable death. In February 2007 there was a prickly frost. I was driving in Kamaz for firewood for the stove at the dacha and thinking about how to get to work in Moscow in the evening, where a dozen people were waiting for me, a journalist. We couldn't find any workers to unload and quietly drove to the same house with local Uzbeks engaged in various day labor. And suddenly we see how a jeep is speeding towards us along a narrow rural road - not to part - at a speed suitable for an exact hit on the next world. I froze, pressed my work briefcase to my heart and did not think about anything, I just prayed: Lord, Jesus Christ, save me and have mercy! He said one or two, and the jeep was already ten meters away. Suddenly the jeep drove off, diving steeply into the snow to my left. The driver and I jumped out. There was an obscenely drunk driver sitting at the wheel. We returned to Kamaz and then I found a briefcase and gasped. I remembered that when leaving in the morning I accidentally took - for the first time in 9 years - my icon on the road. What else to say, if not a miracle.

The miracle of the prayer of the brethren of the monastery at the servant in the city of Graz (Austria) Fr. Arseny Chernikin, two twin daughters were born. One is absolutely healthy, and the second had a brain hemorrhage. She was in an incubator in intensive care and the Austrian doctors did not give her a single chance of survival. About the storm and about the daughter. In October 2008, we were caught in a 9-magnitude storm in a 200-mile zone off West Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. After 10 hours of storm and downpour with hurricane winds, we read the akathist to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. After 40 minutes, the ocean calmed down and we safely reached Morocco and further to Agadir. In 2006, there was a fire in my house. The whole floor burned out and the fire was supposed to spread to the upper floors, but it reached the place where the icon stood and stopped. After the fire, we found the icon, printed on ordinary cardboard and left untouched. Although the frame and salary burned completely. It was the icon of the Smolensk Mother of God. On March 22, 2008, my daughter fell while riding a horse. The x-ray showed a hip fracture. After a fervent prayer in front of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God, a second MRI scan showed no damage at all! Thank God for everything! Mother of God, save us.

Repentant sinner
The exact date of the birth of the Monk Nikita is unknown, but it is clear that he lived in the XII century and served as a tax collector under the prince Yuri Dolgoruky. Nikita was distinguished by a cruel disposition - he oppressed the poor, started quarrels with the rich, collected unrighteous bribes and thereby amassed wealth.
Nikita spent money not at all on good deeds, but on revels with friends. But one day, passing by the church, Nikita heard the words of the prophet Isaiah, pronounced during the service: “Wash yourself, cleanse yourself; remove your evil deeds from my sight." What was said shocked the publican - he did not sleep all night, and the next morning, in order to forget the terrible voice, he arranged a merry feast. According to legend, Nikita's wife went to prepare a treat for the guests, but suddenly the water in the cauldron turned into blood. In horror, the woman called her husband, and he saw the faces of the people he had killed right in the cauldron. Nikita realized that the time had come to give up his former life. He left his wife, abandoned his property and went to the monastery, begging the abbot to help him atone for his sins.
The abbot accepted the sinner and appointed him repentance - he ordered Nikita to stand at the monastery gates for three days, confessing to all who entered his cruel deeds. Nikita fulfilled the will of the abbot, but after that he did not return to the monastery, but disappeared. A few days later, the monks found him in a swamp, the body of a repentant sinner was so eaten up by mosquitoes that it literally oozed blood. It seemed to Nikita that the repentance that the abbot of the monastery had placed on him was not enough, and he decided to subject himself to additional trials.
The monks brought Nikita to the monastery, where he stayed.

Miracles of Healing
Monastic life seemed to Nikita too easy. And then he put on a sackcloth, chains (metal chains - those that are lighter, Nikita wore under his clothes, and heavy ones, weighing two and a half pounds, he laid over the sackcloth), put on a stone hat and retired to hermitage. Not far from the monastery, Nikita dug a hole, set up a pillar at the bottom and gave himself up to prayer. Nearby, he dug a source with his own hands. For such a difficult monastic feat, the Lord rewarded the pillar with the gift of healing. The rumor about the miracle worker spread throughout Rus'. She also reached Prince of Chernigov Mikhail. From his youth, the prince suffered from a serious illness - the muscles of his body gradually weakened, and Mikhail could no longer walk. Together with his boyars, he went to Nikita for healing. Not far from the monastery, Michael stopped and sent one of the servants to the stylite to ask him to pray for the prince's health. However, Nikita did not pray, instead he gave the boyar a staff and ordered that the seriously ill prince himself come to him, relying only on this stick. The boyar doubted - the prince was so weak that he could not go even two steps. But the princely man did not dare to argue with the monk and went to Michael with a staff. As soon as the prince took the staff, he felt his strength arriving, and on his feet he went to the stylite. In memory of this miracle, a stone chapel was erected one verst (about a kilometer) from the Nikitsky Monastery.

Nikita died at the hands of dashing people. They decided to steal the stylite's chains - from constant wear, the iron chains became so smooth that they shone like silver ones. On the night of May 24, 1186, the robbers attacked the monk, killed him, took off the heavy chains and started off. On the banks of the Volga, the robbers stopped to divide the booty. It was then that it turned out that the chains were not silver at all. Then the robbers threw them into the water and disappeared. That same night, the monks noticed three bright beams above the river, which rose from the water. The townspeople and monks gathered on the shore and saw that the chains did not drown - they swayed on the surface, "like a tree floating in the Volga waters." They took the chains out of the water and carried them into the church with a prayer service, placing them next to the coffin of St. Nikita. It is said that those who attended the funeral service and touched the chains received healing. The body of Nikita was buried near the monastery, and the chains were left for the worship of believers.
In 2000, with the blessing of the patriarch Alexy II the relics were removed from the earth and transferred to Nikitsky Monastery, where they are stored together with the chains.
Believers venerate the relics of the saint to ask for healing from bodily weakness. They say that in response to prayers, the saint helps to cope with diseases of the limbs, recover from injuries, and cope with insomnia.
Water from the holy spring dug by Nikita is considered to be healing. Baths are arranged at the source, where pilgrims come to take a dip. And on the day of Nikita's death, May 23 and 24 according to the Julian calendar (June 5-6, according to the new style), Orthodox believers celebrate the Day of Remembrance of St. Nikita.
What else to do in Pereslavl-Zalessky

In one family from the city of Kremenchug lives a girl Vlada. This story began in 2013. The letter was sent by her mother Lyudmila.
She writes: “My daughter became very ill, spent a year in a coma, I dreamed of St. Luke. As I understood it, he himself introduced himself and said that his name was Archbishop Luke, and that she should come to him. In the morning I began to search the Internet about the holy Archbishop Luke, I read a lot about him. But how to go to him in Simferopol? My daughter is sick, I can't leave her!
A few days later I was told that the relics of St. Luke were brought to our city from the monastery of St. Paisius Velichkovsky. My joy knew no bounds! I asked the clergyman to serve a prayer service before the relics of St. Luke for my daughter. After some time, the daughter regained consciousness, gradually began to recover. I know that St. Luke himself healed her. After all, he himself came to us!”

"The Miracle of Giving a Child"
The parishioners of our monastery Elena and Sergey Goncharov, residents of the city of Inkerman (a suburb of Sevastopol), for ten years in marriage could not give birth to a child. The pregnancy failed early. Sorrow and despair brought them to our monastery. Having told about their grief, they received a blessing to confess and take communion every Sunday, pray together at home, lead a Christian lifestyle and read the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos “The Chosen Voevoda” daily.
Every Sunday, this family attended a divine service in the monastery, partaking of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. After the Liturgy, they remained in the church for a long time and prayed on their knees at the icon of the Mother of God “The Acolyte”. The Queen of Heaven heeded the prayers and faith of this family, Elena conceived. For a long time hiding the fact that she is pregnant, not believing in her own happiness. But the time came and it was already impossible to hide the pregnancy, she arrived and told the Viceroy about the pregnancy. Joy knew no bounds. Continuing his rule of weekly communion and reading the Akathist, the time for the birth of a child has come. A healthy boy was born. They baptized the boy in the monastery, calling him Cyril.
In gratitude for the miracle sent, the Goncharov family left a medallion with the image of a newborn child and the signature of the name.
The miracles in this family did not end there. A year later, on the day of the Entry into the Temple of the Mother of God, the Lord sent them another daughter, who was baptized with the name Mary.

"Birth of Matthew"
The Mother of God abundantly pours out Her Maternal love to everyone who comes to Her with faith and asks for Her mercy!
So in our monastery a new miracle happened with the young family of Natalia and Nikolai Kravchina.
Natalia, for a long time, could not conceive a child. She received a blessing to take communion weekly and read the Akathist to the Theotokos daily. The Lord and the Mother of God heard their prayers. Natalya conceived a child, in due time gave birth to a boy, in baptism he was named Matthew, in honor of St. Matthew the Apostle, since he was born on the day of his memory.
In gratitude, the family hung up a plate-medallion with the image of a baby with the inscription "NK" (Natalya Kravchina)
Another miracle is connected with the name of Natalya K.. Natalia got thyroid cancer. Fear, horror, a young woman who recently gave birth to a long-awaited child ... But faith and God's mercy work wonders! Natalia prayed in front of the reliquary with the relics of St. Nektarios of Aegina, having passed regular tests, the doctors found “that there was no swelling, and they themselves stated a miracle”
Great is the Lord when with faith they come to Him and the intercession of the saints!

"Lyudmila"
The mother of our parishioner Yulia, Lyudmila Nikolaevna, received terrible news that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. There were examinations, treatment, chemotherapy. They turned to the monastery for help and a request for prayers at the relics of St. Nektarios.
We went to Kyiv for treatment. After part of the course of treatment, it was found that the tumor "disappeared". Upon arrival home, in Sevastopol, Lyudmila immediately arrived at the monastery and thanked St. Nektarios of Aegina with tears in her eyes. She presented her earrings to the relics. (2015)

"Miracle in Cyprus"
At the end of May 2016, at the invitation of Metropolitan Isaiah of Orinia and Tamasos, we brought to Cyprus an ark with part of the holy relics of St. Luke of Crimea. There we witnessed several miracles.
First miracle.
A man called to the church of St. Barbara, where the relics of St. Luke were arriving, and in an alarmed voice asked the rector, “Who is Luke - a doctor who should come to visit you? The rector told him that in a few days the relics of St. Luke were being brought to his church. The man promised to come and tell everything personally.
On the day of the meeting of the relics, this man also arrived. Here is his story:
“I dreamed of an elderly man in a white coat, with a panagia on his chest. He said that his name was Luke and that he would soon be visiting Cyprus, in the church of St. Barbara. Come to me, I will cure your sick wife.
My wife is really sick, the diagnosis is “psychiatry”… I brought my wife, her condition was very serious. But she became completely healthy ”(later doctors really confirmed that the woman was completely cured).

A thirteen-year-old boy was brought to the temple, in a wheelchair, diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
The Greeks have a tradition procession with an icon or relics, people pass under an icon or relics. So it was this time. The boy, with the help of his parents, was led under the icon of St. Luke, and in front of the eyes of all the numerous people, the boy straightened up and began to shout loudly that "St. Luke just touched me!" The boy was healed.
These miraculous cases, Metropolitan Isaiah himself reported in writing to His Beatitude, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine, with gratitude for the opportunity for thousands of Cypriots to venerate the great shrine - the relics of St. Luke of Crimea.

Everything happened in September 2016, when, at the invitation of Archbishop Michael of Geneva and Western Europe (ROCOR) and with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine, with the support of the St. and the sorrowful of the Crimean land. The ark with part of the relics is stored in the Stavropegic monastery of St. Paisiy Velichkovsky in the city of Sevastopol. Once this particle was donated to our monastery by His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir.
So, in September we arrived in Geneva. Archbishop Michael received us warmly, everything was organized, many people came to the Exaltation of the Cross Church in Geneva to venerate the holy relics. One weekday, when there was almost no one in the temple, a young woman came. She prayed at the ark for a very long time, wept. I served a prayer service and after that we talked with her. She told her story. That for six years now, doctors have diagnosed her with infertility. A sentence for a woman ... Her family life gradually began to collapse, all her dreams of a happy family life, gradually began to fade. And here is her only consolation and support, this is the temple of God. And she asks Saint Luke for help. Her story touched me. I don’t know why, but I advised her to immediately go buy flowers and bring them to the relics of the saint. Only necessarily such flowers that she loves herself ... I myself do not understand why he said so. After some time, Lisa came and brought several huge pots of chrysanthemums. We placed them at the relics and again served a prayer service to St. Luke. You cannot imagine with what strength she prayed, it was felt standing next to her!
I cut off several inflorescences of chrysanthemums, attached them to the relics and gave them to her with the words: “Only believe, and the Lord, through the prayers of St. Luke, He will definitely help you!”
She took off the ring and put it herself in the reliquary.
We left. But sometimes I remembered Liza and, if possible, commemorated her at the Liturgy.
And so, on January 20, 2017, Lisa called me. She told me that she had been looking for my phone number for a long time. Crying told that she had been carrying a child under her heart for three months. She thanked and said, “I know for sure that it was St. Luke who helped me! Flowers from the relics are always with me. ”We agreed with her that if she gives birth to a son, she will name him Luke, in honor of her Heavenly Doctor, who begged her for a child.

Grandmother herself realized the canvas, equipped the horse and at the same time with the girl went to the holy spring.
On the way, they thought that Praskovya would need help to get out of the cart when they arrived. But when the travelers arrived in the Sarov, a miracle happened - the woman was able to get out of the cart without outside help and go to bow to the holy seraphim. After that, Praskovya went to the holy spring and bathed in it - she was completely healed of the diseases that tormented her. She no longer had difficulty with her legs. And when, after the healing, she returned home, she again noticed a dream in which an old man came to her house; now she clearly saw that it was a Seraphim of Sarov, he approached her, smiled and crossed her.

Somehow, a young Frenchman got into a clinic on the outskirts of Paris with a leg crippled in a car accident. Somehow, his one and a half year old son Alexei fell ill with some kind of obscure stomach disease, which manifested itself in diarrhea and vomiting after eating. The disease did not go away for 2 years and progressed. The doctor who treats Alexei gave him too strong medicine, which is water-based drops. Apart from these drops, the stomach did not want to take anything else. As a result of the disease, the baby lost a lot of weight and reached the verge of dehydration. In the end, this boy was taken to the clinic. The expert wanted to give the boy artificial nutrition, as he was very thin and pale. But at the request of the parents, he agreed to leave the boy to them for six hours in last resort that he will still be able to eat medicines in the traditional way.
Mom and dad of the sick boy began to pray to God for healing. They tried twice to give him medicine, but nothing came of it. After this incident, the boy called the icon of the Iberian Mother of God “his own”.
