The dove flew past and touched the ear with its wing. A raven flew overhead - a sign

Perhaps no bird in the world causes so many conflicting opinions. She is always where carrion and carrion is, which is why she has always been considered a symbol of war. In the old days, she was considered the constant companion of black magicians, and they also believed that they were able to turn around in these birds. However, in many fairy tales, the raven personifies wisdom and worldly experience, and often such a bird helped the main character find a way out of the most difficult situation, it is enough to recall the tale about Ivan Tsarevich and the gray wolf. All the signs associated with ravens will be told, in particular, and that he flew over his head.

Behavior of a special bird towards a special person

I must say that the phenomenon when a crow almost sat on its head is a rarity, therefore, the sign associated with this has aroused interest at all times. The ancient Slavs believed that this bird is a conductor between two worlds - Naviu and Yavu, that is world of the dead and alive. At the same time, it was not customary to be afraid of the first, on the contrary, people believed that their relatives who had gone into another world protect and protect them, and through the ravens they can warn of danger, give some advice. If a crow bird sat on its head or touched its wing, then this sign means imminent troubles, misfortunes, serious illness and even death. Not always the worst case scenario - perhaps such a person is in for big changes, for example, a job change.

The ancient people who lived on the territory of present-day Ukraine believed that the bird thus recognized a person as his own, that is, possessing some kind of supernatural abilities. And if today I accept a sign related to the fact that a crow hit or pecked on the head of a child, they will not interpret it in the best way and fear the death of the baby, then they believed that an extraordinary fate awaited him if the feathered one distinguished him from all the others.

A bird croaking behind its back promises injury or the appearance of an enemy in life, and if a raven circles behind its head and croaks, then this sign is associated with future problems, troubles and interference. Those who are going on a trip should pay attention to this, especially if the bird has flown in the opposite direction. In the same way, you can decipher the sign if the bird follows a walking person.

Other signs with ravens

A crow sitting on the roof of a house or has always been associated with a future funeral. And if in the first case it was clear whose house trouble would come, then in the second they paid attention to where the tail of the bird “looks” and bad news was expected from that direction. However, a large gathering of birds on the roof has already been interpreted as a quick wedding, and attention has also been paid to the number of birds flying over the cortege. If she was alone, it was believed that the marriage would not be happy, and if there were two or more, then everything would be fine with the newlyweds.

It is not good for the beak to knock on the window, as well as for the bird to visit the window sill. In general, any bird knocking on the window has always been considered a messenger of death. However, in past centuries, this was again associated with the activities of the ancestors who had gone to another world. Allegedly, this is how they convey the news to relatives and provide a chance in life that is important not to miss. A bird walking on the doorstep of a house has always been associated with future theft, and this is no coincidence, because everyone knows how greedy crows are for everything bright and shiny.

To meet a crow sitting on a stone on the way is always a danger, and this is especially true for those who went to the forest to hunt or pick mushrooms and berries. It is recommended to turn back, otherwise you cannot avoid meeting with a wild beast. The same applies to the situation when a crow appears at a resting place and behaves restlessly - it flies and flaps its wings. It's worth it to hurry up and look for another place to stay.

A crow is a bird that some associate with devilish power, because according to legend, a demon could take on the appearance of a crow, while others have wisdom - it always helps fairy-tale heroes with advice. Most likely, such an ambivalent attitude towards this bird is due to the fact that in ancient times it personified a conductor between the underworld and the living, so the signs about the crow are not always unambiguous.

You will get a cross of protection, which should hang for three days. Then remove the thread and burn.

- I'm shocked. This has never happened to me before! - the Murmansk woman says excitedly.

The following happened: in broad daylight and, as they say, without declaring war in the yard, she was attacked by ... a crow. And although a day had already passed, Olga Yuryevna was still acutely worried about what had happened:

It flew in from behind, powerfully pushed me in the shoulder, hit my head with a wing! Then she rushed forward, sat on the roof of the garage and looked ... I was confused and told her: “Crow, are you crazy?” And she does not let up! She took off and again swooped in from behind, pushed me in the other shoulder and hit my head several times with her wings. Then I screamed: “Mommy!” - and ran. Horror! Her eyes are red, burning ... I don’t go that road anymore. This is a courtyard on Komsomolskaya Street, where my friend lives. By the way, she said that in the past years a crow attacked her in the yard.

It flew in from behind, powerfully pushed me in the shoulder, hit my head with a wing! I was confused and told her: “Crow, are you out of your mind?”

How modern man Olga Yurievna looked into the Internet - what does he say about crow terrorism? There were quite a lot of messages - from different cities and villages of our country, from abroad. It is noteworthy that gray robbers, as a rule, raid people in the same period of the year - from about mid-May to mid-June. This is the time of incubation of chicks and their first flights.

In the crows, it turns out, the maternal instinct begins to speak. Don't even talk - yell warning: "Hey, don't come close to my nest! Suddenly you want to climb a tree and steal my beautiful, unique and inimitable children in the world! .. Why did you stop under a tree? There my chick fell, he is learning to fly, you just crush him!” So you can interpret the behavior of feathered hooligans.

Marina Kharlamova, Associate Professor of the Department of Natural Sciences at Moscow State University of Humanities, said the same thing, whom I asked to comment on the situation.

This woman could be in the zone of crow's possessions, where the bird sits in the nest. In general, in our North, chicks are born and fledge somewhere in early June. Although there were years when crows hatched eggs in April, and in early May they were already nurturing offspring. The crows may have already appeared, but I have not yet seen the fledglings.

Marina Kharlamova warned: if you saw a crow in the grass, and indeed any other chick, you don’t need to approach him, let alone take him in your arms. Feathered parents are always nearby, they will protect their child. The beak can also be used. And it will be unsafe, especially for a child.

Crows are birds of prey, the scientist noted, in order to emphasize the caution that must be exercised in dealing with a feathered mother. But then she told me about a seemingly even more dangerous bird - a rough-legged buzzard, whose clutch she once examined with students in Ura-Guba. The bird sat on the eggs. And when a curious student's nose poked into the nest, she just flew off, circling anxiously nearby. But she did not show aggression, she gave the guys the opportunity to count the eggs. Maybe the forest-tundra bird of prey is more afraid of people than the city bird, which every day looks down on these bipeds?

Wow, hit me on the head with a wing! - literally on the same day, another Murmansk woman, Tatyana Fedorovna, told me about another crow attack. And again in the city center: - It happened right next to the monument to Lenin. In the morning I go to work, and she swooped in from behind and hit her on the head with a wing. Then she sat on a lamppost - and dived from above. Again she began to beat her wings on the head. And unpleasant, and incomprehensible - for what?

A familiar scheme: the bird pushed, that is, it warned in an accessible way. And the man, here's an incomprehensible creature, instead of legs in hands and running, stops, begins to resent. The bird then repeats the warning...

Although Murmansk crows still act not in the most aggressive way. Well, they will wave the wing, push the body. Here in Germany they sometimes behave like a Sonderkommando. Moreover, I found more than one such case on the Internet: they attack in packs, pull passers-by by the hair, peck on the head with their beak - right up to the blood. It's like watching Hitchcock. And of course, the victims of these battles and eyewitnesses unanimously commemorate the film of the famous master of film thrillers "Birds".

And I found the offender of the first interlocutor. She came to the yard where the attack took place, looked around the mountain ash and saw a nest on one of the trees. Two small heads protruded from it. Mother scoured the branches nearby, picking old berries. Ordinary, in my opinion, a small crow, and the eyes do not seem to be red at all, not “bloodshot” ... And her children are simply charm itself. Maybe there were other kids there, but I didn’t risk counting the crows under the very nest. Without waiting for the bird to demonstrate its maternal instinct again, it left the yard.
