The Holy Quran speaks about healing with the Qur'an:
“Through the Qur'an we send that which serves as healing and mercy for faithful Muslims. And for unfaithful people, it will only increase losses” Surah Al-Isra, verse 82. Also: “He (the Koran) is a guide and a healer for those who have acquired faith.” Surah Fussylat, 44th verse.
Many Islamic scholars have treated and are curing many ailments by reading the verses of the Koran. It is also known that drinking water over which one has read, placed in it or washed away written verses - verses from the Koran - also heals.
Examples of treatment for specific diseases
It is read only in the original language of the Quran, only then the verses have the power of healing.
For headaches: Taking the patient’s head with your right hand, read:
“This is the Lord’s relief and mercy for you” Al-Baqarah, verse 178.
“Allah wants to ease your earthly burden, because man was created weak.” Surah An-Nisa, 28th verse.
“Allah has now eased your earthly burden - he knows that there is weakness in you” Surah Al-Anfal, verse 66.
For eye disease: The treating person reads the verses on the back of the thumbs, then runs over the patient’s eyes:
“Now We have removed the veil from you, and your gaze has become sharp today.” Kaf, 22nd verse.
When bleeding: Write on the patient’s forehead:
“And it was said: O earth, swallow up your waters! O heaven! Stay away from the floods!” Surah Hud, 44th verse.
For deafness: Placing the right hand on the patient’s ear, read:
“And if We had sent down this Koran to a mountain, it would have bowed down in humility and split in fear of Allah.” Surah Al-Hashr, 21st verse.
“And He is Allah! Apart from Him, there is no other deity. He is the King, He is holy, the Source of perfection, He gives peace, commands faith and preserves safety. The Supreme Judge is filled with unlimited power. Praise
to the Lord! He is higher than all the deities who dream of being equal to Him!” Surah Al-Hashr, 23rd verse.
For skin diseases: Point a finger at the affected area and read:
“And further - look at the bones: I will put them together and clothe them in flesh! When this Sunday appeared clearly to him, he said: “I now know that Allah is almighty over everything!” Al-Baqarah, 259-verse.
For tumors and abscesses
:
“What will happen to the firmament of the mountains?” - interests them. Answer: “My Lord will scatter them with ashes, leaving them as a level valley, where you will not discern any crookedness or elevation.” Surah Ta-Ha, verses 105-107.
For chest pain: Place your hand on your chest and read:
“Have we not opened your chest? Has the burden that was hurting your back been lifted from your soul? And have you not elevated the honor to which you are assigned? Indeed, truly, after every hardship there will come relief. And when you have finished with the burden of prayer, continue to work and direct all your efforts to your Master.” Surah Ash-Sharkh.
“Oh people! Advice has come to you from your Master and healing for what is in your chest. And for believers - the straight path and God's mercy." Surah Yunus, 57th verse.
For heart disease:
“Those who believe and whose hearts are filled with peace when calling on Allah, because calling on Allah fills the heart with peace.” Surah Ar-Ra'd, 28th verse.
For fever:
“And We said: ‘O fire! Be cool! Become safe." Surah Al-Anbiya, 69th verse.
In case of obsession:
“And if Satan inclines you to evil, seek salvation from God - after all, He alone is Omniscient and Omnipresent!” Surah Fussilat, verse 36.
“They have established a relationship between the Lord and the jinn, but the jinn know that they will all be brought to Him.” Surah As-Saffat, 158-verse.
« Ask Allah for protection from Satan, who is driven by stones; truly, he has no power over those who believe in Allah and place their hopes in Him.” Surah An-Nakhl, 97-98 verses
For epileptic seizures and loss of consciousness
:
“So, did you really think that We created you while amusing ourselves and that they would not return you to Us again? Great is Allah, the King, the True Himself, there is no deity except Him - the Ruler of the Throne of Honor! Surah Al-Muminun, verses 115-116.
For mental disorders:
“Say: “It is revealed to me that a host of jinn, having heard the recitation, said: “Verily, we have heard the Quran wonderfully. He points the way to the Truth, we have believed in him, and in the worship of Allah he will not invent other gods.” Surah Al-Jin, verses 1-2.
From witchcraft:
“When they gave up, Musa turned to them: “What you presented is undoubtedly witchcraft, and truly Allah will bring it to nothing. Allah, indeed, does not allow the success of those who commit wickedness. And Allah confirms the Truth with His Words, although it is hateful to those who are in sin.” Surah Yunus, 81-82 verses.
“Then We inspired Musa: ‘Throw away your rod,’ and instantly he devours what they intoxicate everyone with. And the truth was revealed in full, and the lie of what they did was revealed. And there they were defeated, and before everyone’s eyes they turned into humiliated and pitiful.” Surah Al-A'raf, verses 117-119.
“We said: ‘Do not be afraid, Musa! Indeed, truly, you are above them. Throw away what your right hand is holding, and it will instantly devour everything that they have produced through the spell; after all, everything that they created was a simple trick of a sorcerer, but the sorcerer cannot find happiness, no matter where he goes.” Surah Ta-Ha, verses 68-69.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
« Allah does not send down any disease without sending down a cure for it. "(Imam Al-Bukhari).
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said:
« O slaves of Allah, get treatment, because Allah did not send a disease without sending a cure for it except death "(reliable hadith, transmitted by 4 hadith imams).
For headaches: holding the patient’s head with your right hand, read:
ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ
“This is the Lord’s relief and mercy for you” Al-Bakara, 178
يُرِيدُ اللّٰهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ وَخُلِقَ الإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفاً
“Allah wants to lighten (the earthly burden) for you, because weak man was created.” An-Nisa, 28
الآنَ خَفَّفَ اللّٰهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفاً
“Today Allah has lightened your (earthly burden) - He knows that there is weakness in you.” Al-Anfal, 66
In case of illness eye : the healer reads the verses on the back of the thumbs, then runs over the patient’s eyes:
لَقَدْ كُنتَ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَاءكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
“Now We have removed the veil from you, and your gaze has become sharp today.” Kaf, 22
In case of bleeding: on forehead the patient writes:
وَقِيلَ يَا أَرْضُ ابْلَعِي مَاءكِ وَيَا سَمَاء أَقْلِعِي
“And it was said: "Earth! Oh, swallow your waters! O heaven! Stay away from the floods!” Hood, 44
At deafness: placing the right hand on the patient’s ear, it reads:
لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعاً مُّتَصَدِّعاً مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّٰهِ
“And if We had sent down this Koran to a mountain, it would have bowed in humility and split in fear of Allah...” Al-Hashr, 21
هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُالْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
“And He is Allah! Apart from Him, there is no other deity. He is the King, He is the Holy, the Source of perfection, He gives peace, commands faith and preserves safety; The Supreme Judge is filled with unlimited power. Praise be to the Lord! He is above all the deities that are invented to be equal to Him!” Al-Hashr, 23
For skin diseases: point your finger at the affected area and read:
وَانظُرْ إِلَى العِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْماً فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
At tumors And boils:
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفاً فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعاً صَفْصَفاً لَا تَرَى فِيهَا عِوَجاً وَلَا أَمْتاً
“What will happen to the (solid) mountains?” – interests them. Answer: “My Lord will scatter them with ashes, leaving them as a flat valley, where you will not discern either crookedness or elevation.” Ta-Ha, 105-107
At chest pain: placing (holding) your hand on your chest, reads:
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْراً إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْراً فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ
“Have we not opened your chest? Has the burden that was hurting your back been lifted from your soul? And have you not elevated the honor to which you are assigned? Indeed, truly, after every hardship there will come relief. And when you are finished (with the burden of prayer), continue to work and direct all your efforts to your Master.”
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاء لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
“Oh people! Advice has come to you from your Master and healing for what is in your chest. And for those who believe - the straight path and God's mercy." Yunus, 57
In case of illness hearts:
الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ أَلاَ بِذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
“Those who believe and whose hearts are filled with peace when calling on Allah, because calling on Allah fills the heart with peace.” Ar-Raghd, 28
At fever:
قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْداً وَسَلَاماً
“And We said: “O fire! Be cool! Become safe..." Al-Anbiya, 69
At obsession:
وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَباً وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
“They have established a relationship between the Lord and the jinn, but the jinn know that they will all be brought to Him.” As-Saffat, 158
فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
“...ask Allah for protection from Satan, who is driven by stones; truly, he has no power over those who believe (in Allah) and place their hopes in Him” An-Nahl, 97-98
For seizures epilepsy and loss of consciousness:
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثاً وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ فَتَعَالَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
“So, did you really think that We created you while amusing ourselves and that they would not return you to Us (again)? Great is Allah, the King, the True Himself, there is no deity except Him - the Ruler of the Throne of Honor! Al-Muminun, 115-116
At mental disorders:
قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآناً عَجَباً يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَداً
“Say: “It is revealed to me that a host of jinn, having heard the recitation, said: “Verily, we have heard the Quran wonderfully. He points the way to the Truth, we have believed in him, and in the worship of Allah he will not invent other gods.” Al-Jin, 1-2
From witchcraft:
فَلَمَّا أَلْقَواْ قَالَ مُوسَى مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ إِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ إِنَّ اللّٰهَ لاَ يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ وَيُحِقُّ اللّٰهُ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ

وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَانقَلَبُواْ صَاغِرِينَ

قُلْنَا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْأَعْلَى وَأَلْقِ مَا فِي يَمِينِكَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوا إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا كَيْدُ سَاحِرٍ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَى
“We said: “Do not be afraid, (Musa)! Indeed, truly, you are above them. Throw away what your right hand is holding, and it will instantly devour everything that they have produced through the spell; after all, everything that they created was a simple trick of a sorcerer, but the sorcerer cannot find happiness, no matter where he goes” Ta-Ha, 68-69
Lemon: About lemon, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“A believer who reads the Quran is like a lemon, pleasant to the taste and pleasant to the smell.” .
The peel, leaves and branches contain essential oils that give the lemon its unique scent. Lemon juice is useful for salt deposits, gout, rheumatism, cardiac edema, urolithiasis, low acidity of gastric juice, vitamin deficiencies, as well as dropsy, hemorrhoids, tuberculosis, radiculitis. Lemon juice is also used externally for fungal skin diseases and age spots.
Onion: The bow is mentioned in the Koran:
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىَ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِن بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ الَّذِي هُوَ أَدْنَى بِالَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ اهْبِطُواْ مِصْراً فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ
“And (remember) when you said: “O Musa! We can no longer tolerate the same food. You pray to your God for us, so that He would send down to us (vegetables) that grow on the earth, from zucchini and onions, lentils (peas), and garlic.” He said to them: “Do you really want to replace the best with the inferior? Go to the city, then you will find everything you want there." Al-Baqarah, 61
Onions stimulate appetite, stimulate the functional activity of the gastrointestinal tract, and are an antiscorbutic agent. Useful for atherosclerosis. Onions are used for sore throat and bronchitis. For coughs and colds, onions with honey or a decoction of honey in milk are recommended.
Milk: The Koran says about milk:
وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهِ مِن بَيْنِ فَرْثٍ وَدَمٍ لَّبَناً خَالِصاً سَآئِغاً لِلشَّارِبِينَ
“Truly, even in cattle there is a lesson hidden for you: We give you to drink from that which is formed in their bodies between excretion and blood - milk, which is both pure and pleasant to those who drink it” An-Nahl, 66
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Drink (consume) cow’s milk, for it is medicine, and its cream is healing, but its meat (in it) is harmful.”
He also said:
“Allah will not send down a single disease without also sending down its panacea except poison, so you should drink cow’s milk, for it (the cow) consumes (grazes on) all (x) plants.”
It is also reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“If Allah feeds any of you, let him say: “O Allah! Bless us in this and endow us with good from this!” « And if Allah gives any of you milk to drink, let him say: “O Allah, bless us in this, and give us more in this!”
Milk is the only food product in the first months of human life. It is of exceptional importance in the nutrition of an adult. For old, weakened, sick people, milk is an indispensable food. This product contains over one hundred valuable components.
It includes all the substances necessary for the functioning of the body - proteins, fats, carbohydrates, mineral salts, vitamins. All these milk components are well balanced, making them easily and completely digestible. Milk has long been used as a remedy for many diseases: in the treatment of the heart, kidneys and other organs.
Dairy products (yogurt, kefir, kumiss, etc.) are an excellent remedy for people suffering from gastrointestinal diseases, tuberculosis, and they also have a good effect in case of poisoning. Milk has a beneficial effect on the secretion of the digestive glands. It is absorbed with minimal stress. In this case, energy is required 3-4 times less than for the assimilation of, for example, bread.
The chemical composition of milk in% is as follows: water – 87.5; dry matter – 12.5, including milk fat – 3.8, proteins – 3.3 (casein – 2.7, albumin – 0.4 and globulin – 0.1), milk sugar – 4.7, minerals substances – 0.7. The peculiarity of many components is that nature does not repeat them in any other food product.
Milk fat has a special composition, taste and high digestibility. Milk proteins contain all the essential amino acids.
A liter of milk and the products derived from it - kefir, cottage cheese, yogurt - satisfy almost half of an adult’s daily requirement for essential amino acids.
Milk sugar (lactose) is a significant source of energy. It contains glucose and galactose and is nutritionally equal to regular sugar, but less sweet.
There are about 30 vitamins in milk. Dairy products play a particularly important role in supplying the body with vitamins.
Cow butter is a food product that is a concentrate of milk fat obtained as a result of appropriate processing of milk.
The main component of butter is milk fat, the content of which is 83% - 98%. Digestibility of milk fat is 96-98%. The taste benefits of butter depend on the degree of plasma distribution in it (the non-fat part of the butter), the presence of milk salts, table salt, lactic and citric acids.
The presence of vitamins and the specific chemical composition of milk fat determine its nutritional and taste properties.
Cucumbers: Regarding cucumbers, it is mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate (consumed) cucumbers with dates.
In the hadith from ’ Aisha, the mother of the faithful, says: “The Prophet tried to fatten me with many things, but this did not make me full, then he began to feed me dates and cucumbers, and I began to recover.”
Cucumbers exhibit choleretic, diuretic and laxative effects. Cucumber juice is used for diseases of the upper respiratory tract as an antipyretic; infusion of seeds is used for fever, tuberculosis, renal colic, pain in the stomach and intestines. Cucumber juice improves the condition of teeth, hair, and nails.
Fish: The Koran says about fish:
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ سَرَباً فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا قَالَ لِفَتَاهُ آتِنَا غَدَاءنَا لَقَدْ لَقِينَا مِن سَفَرِنَا هَذَا نَصَباً
“When they reached the confluence of the two seas, they completely forgot about their fish, which (in a wonderful way) headed its way straight to the sea. And when they (forward) left, Musa said to his companion: “You prepare food for us. Our hard path has exhausted us..." Al-Kahf, 61-62
وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَمِن كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْماً طَرِيّاً
“And the two seas cannot compare with each other: one with pleasant and fresh water, (suitable) for drinking (and for food), salty and bitter - the other, (undrinkable). And yet you eat fresh fish from both waters...” Al-Fatir, 12
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْماً طَرِيّاً
“And it is He who subdued the sea for you, so that you could eat fresh meat...” An-Nakhl, 14
Fish is a highly nutritious food product, practically in no way inferior to domestic animal meat. The chemical composition of the edible part of fish is much more diverse than the composition of the meat of land animals. Fish proteins have an advantage over animal proteins in that they contain several times less connective tissue proteins. This is one of the reasons why fish products are easier to digest by enzymes in the digestive tract.
Beet: Beetroot is mentioned in the hadith of Umm al-Munzir bin Qais al Ansari: “Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us, and with him - ’ Ali, who (then) was recovering (from a recent illness). When they were offered dates, they both began to eat. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to repeat to Ali: “You’re getting better” - until I dissuaded him. Then I prepared them malt soup and sugar beets. Then he said (Ali): “Well, this will just help you” .
Salt: Regarding salt, it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The best seasoning is salt.” .
Also: “Do not doubt that you (believers) will be like salt in food, just as salt seasons food.”
Also: “Allah Almighty sent down four blessings from heaven to earth: iron, fire, water and salt.”
Table salt consists of two chemical elements: sodium and chlorine. Chlorine is necessary for the formation of hydrochloric acid in gastric juice and for other processes. Sodium is part of all cells and fluids of the human body. We couldn't exist without him.
Caraway: About cumin the Messenger of Allah said: “You should take cumin, it is a cure for every disease except death.”
Cumin is an essential oil plant. Its seeds contain proteins, resins, flavonoids, tannins, quercetin, fatty and essential oils. The characteristic smell of cumin oil is due to the content of an aromatic substance - carvone.
Cumin seeds are also widely used in medicine. Cumin preparations can be used as a means to stimulate appetite. To do this, take powder from crushed seeds (on the tip of a teaspoon) 20-30 minutes before meals. Used to improve digestion, especially atony and intestinal pain, reduce the process of rotting and fermentation.
The seeds are used as a carminative and laxative. They are also used as a means to secrete milk in nursing women (1-2 teaspoons of crushed seeds are poured into 1 glass of boiling water, left for half an hour and drunk throughout the day). In folk medicine, caraway seeds are used for choking and coughing.
Pumpkin : Pumpkin is mentioned in the Koran:
فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاء وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ وَأَنبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِّن يَقْطِينٍ
“We threw him onto a deserted shore, and he was weak and sick. We raised Yaktyn (pumpkin fruit) over him.” As-Saffat, 145-146
The pumpkin diet helps with cardiac edema, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and improves intestinal functions. Pumpkin juice calms the nervous system, promotes good sleep, quenches thirst, and is recommended for liver and kidney diseases.
Chicory: About chicory, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Eat (eat) chicory without shaking (it), for one day drops from Heaven will descend on it.”
Another hadith says: “Whoever ate (consumed) chicory and went to bed, neither poison nor witchcraft will touch him.” .
It also says : “There is not a single chicory petal on which there are not drops from Heaven.”
Chicory is a food and medicinal plant. Young shoots, leaves and roots are eaten. To obtain tender and tasty greens, salad varieties of chicory are specially grown, which are used in dietary nutrition for diabetes. For medical purposes, they prefer to use wild chicory, which contains more active medicinal principles.
Chicory is also widely used in folk medicine. It has antibacterial and astringent effects. The roots are recommended as a means of increasing appetite and improving digestion, as well as for cirrhosis, jaundice, anemia, scurvy, and eczema. A good diuretic effect is noted in patients with edema of cardiac origin when treated with a strong decoction of roots, or herbs with roots (1 tablespoon of raw material per glass of boiling water, taken 3 times a day).
Barley (malt) : The properties of barley (malt) are mentioned in the hadith from ’ Aisha that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when one of his family members felt unwell, ordered a drink (pottage) to be prepared from malt (barley) and said:
“It improves your mood and strengthens your well-being, just as water cleanses your faces of dust and dirt.” .
Porridges and soups made from barley grains are useful for overweight people; a barley diet helps with skin diseases - psoriasis, eczema. A decoction of barley groats has a softening and enveloping property; it is recommended for gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by irritation of the mucous membranes.
Treatment with the Qur'an has been known since its revelation. The meaning of verse 82 of Surah al-Isra” reads: “We send down in the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers...”. The tradition of healing with the Koran was founded by the Messenger of God ﷺ, who himself treated by reading the lines of the Holy Scriptures and taught this to his companions. We present to our readers a number of Quranic verses for healing from certain ailments.
Verses of the Quran for the treatment of headaches
Taking the patient’s head with his right hand, read:
...ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ...
“...Such is the relief and mercy from your Lord...” (meaning of verse 178 of Surah al-Baqarah).
يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا
“Allah wishes relief for you, because man was created weak.” (meaning of verse 28 of Surah an-Nisa).
الْآنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا...
“Now Allah has lightened your burden, for He knows that you are weak...” (meaning of verse 66 of Surah al-Anfal).

...فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفًا * فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا * لَّا تَرَى فِيهَا عِوَجًا وَلَا أَمْتًا
“They ask you about the mountains. Say: “My Lord will scatter them and leave only a smooth plain. You will not see any depression or elevation in it.” (the meaning of verses 105-107 of Surah “Ta-Ha”).

Placing (holding) your hand on your chest, it reads:
أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ * وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ * الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ * وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ * فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا * إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا * فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ * وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَب
“We opened your heart by directing it to the straight path, instilling faith in it, and we lightened the burden of preaching Islam that was weighing on your back by supporting you and making it easier for you to do your work, which was weighing on your back. We have exalted your name and inspired each of the believers to pronounce it after Our name. This is part of Our mercies towards you. Be confident in the mercy of Allah Almighty. After all, the burden is followed by great relief, combined with it! Truly, great relief follows hardship! When you are freed from the call to Islam and from matters related to “jihad,” worship Allah diligently and tirelessly and do not get tired of worshiping Him! Only turn to your Lord with your requests and needs!” (the meaning of verses 1-8 of Surah al-Sharh).
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
The Word of the Almighty - the Holy Quran - carries benefits not only for eternal life, but also for the mortal world, through it not only our soul is healed, but also our physical health is strengthened. The Qur'anic verse reads (meaning): “We send down in the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers...” (meaning of verse 82 of Surah al-Isra'). The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Heal yourself with two things - honey and the Koran” (ibn Majah). You just need to touch this universe of grace, immerse yourself in reading the beautiful lines of the Divine Book. Verse of the Qur'an for healing from illnesses
وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ.
Meaning: “And when I get sick, He heals me, facilitating the methods of treatment when I rely on Him” (the meaning of verse 80 of Surah al-Shu’ara).
Ayat of the Quran for various ailments
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
Meaning: “If Allah touches you with disaster, then there is no savior and deliverer for you except Him; and if He gives you a benefit, then no one can deprive you of this gift. He is Powerful, He has power over every thing!” (17th verse of Surah al-An'am).

Lately we often hear that someone was overcome by jinn, someone was damaged, etc. The medicine of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) (also called Ruqiya Shar'iyya) can cure all ailments. In Russia it is just beginning to develop. One of the types of medicine of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is treatment with the verses of the Koran.
In the Central Juma Mosque of Makhachkala, this practice is used quite successfully. The main reciter-doctor is a graduate of the Damascus Islamic University, senior lecturer at ITiMO, head of the center for training in reading the Koran, Budunov Muhammad Habib-haji. - Muhammad Habib-haji, tell us what you do and what place your profession occupies in Islam?
Praise be to Allah, who said in the Noble Quran: “We send down in the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers.”
He also said: "...who heals me when I am sick."
I practice treatment with the Koran, because in this life a person finds himself in different situations, becoming convinced of his powerlessness and need for the Almighty. Various diseases, be they physiological or mental, can test a person’s conviction and faith, and his patience. They can also be a cleansing from sins, as the legend says: “If Allah loves His servant, He will test him to such an extent that when he meets Him, no sins will remain on the person.”
Troubles and illnesses sent down to a slave can cause great reward and a high degree for patience and contentment with the predestination of Allah, and then he will receive an untold reward from Allah.
Treatment with the Quran cannot be denied, because it is established by Sharia, and it occurs by the will of Allah.
The Holy Quran - the Word of the Lord of the worlds, connecting people with their Creator - is one of the most effective means.
Kharaja reports that once, when leaving the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, they passed by an Arab settlement, and there they were asked for help. “One sick man was brought to us, and I read Surah Al-Fatiha to him morning and evening for three days, accompanying my reading with small spits. After this he recovered. His relatives wanted to give me a gift for this, but I said that I had to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) allowed me to take the gift and said that I did everything right.” Quoted from Abu Dawud.
There are many such examples that can be given.
- How did you come to this yourself, where did you receive your education and practice?
I taught the Noble Quran in the Central Juma Mosque of the city of Makhachkala. Desperate patients came to the mosque, and some brought water so that I could read verses of the Koran over it. And I read when I was free. But when their number began to grow, I did not have time to accept them, and I had to refuse them. I raised this issue with Imam Muhammadrasul-haji, and he allocated me an office.
This year, Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Afandi, may Allah protect him, ordered me to study treatment with the Koran and sent me to Medina for training. All expenses were covered by the Spiritual Administration. I studied with Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Shaban, then he sent me to Mecca to Dr. Ammar. Dr. Ammar has permission (ijazu) to treat with the Qur'an. Having learned from him, I also received permission from him. Today, following the orders of both sheikhs, I am engaged in treatment by reading the Koran and herbs.
- How successful is your treatment?
Healing and illness are in the will of Allah. He created disease and cure for testing, warning, punishment and forgiveness. Even a leaf from a tree will not fall without His knowledge. The Holy Quran heals not only mental and spiritual, but also physical ailments.
The true healer is Allah Almighty, and I am just a reason and an “instrument” through which this happens. My practice shows every day that reading the Quran benefits people, gives them peace of mind and heals.
- Which people are most at risk from jinn?
Basically, the easy prey for jinn, shaitans and sahirs-sorcerers are people who are far from Islam, who do not perform namaz and do not follow the orders of Allah, do not fear Allah and do not remember Him, and commit all sorts of sins.
There are other ways that Satan uses against a person. The most dangerous of them:
1) ignorance of religion;
2) anger;
3) love for the worldly;
4) long aspirations;
5) stinginess;
6) pride;
7) pride;
8) committing acts for show;
9) following passions;
10) bad opinion of others;
11) humiliation of a Muslim;
12) despair (loss of hope for the mercy of Allah).
- How to distinguish those who are simply sick from those who have been overcome by the genies? What is the difference between them?
I read the verses of the Qur'an and identify possession by specific symptoms that may appear during the reading. If they do not appear, then I advise you to go to the doctors and get examined.
How can you protect yourself from being possessed by jinn?
The following must be observed:
1. Follow all the requirements of Islam, especially with regard to the five-time prayer, which men must perform collectively in the mosque, and women without delay at home.
2. Avoid committing sins and repent of them.
3. Avoid both major and minor sins, especially the love of music and immoral television series that has struck most people, which weaken faith and give rise to hypocrisy in the hearts of people. Because of them, people become easy prey for the devils and jinn.
5. Remember Allah every morning and evening.
One should say a hundred times a day, “Lailagya ilallagyu wahIdagyu la sharikallagyu lagyul mulku wa lagyul xIamdu wa gyuva gIala kulli shayin Qadir” (There is no god except Allah alone, who has no partner, to Him belongs the power, to Him is praise, and He can do everything ).
7. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:“Nothing will harm [that] servant [of Allah] who every morning and every evening will say three times: “Bismillagi llazi la yazurra mag1a ssamai shayun fil arziva la fi ssamai wa gu’va samig1ul g1alim” (With the name of Allah, with which nothing will not cause harm either on earth or in heaven, because He is the Hearing, the Knowing!)" This hadith is reported by Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, who said: “A good hadith.”
8. Protect children. The recommended spell is given in the hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited the following spell over his grandchildren Hasan and Hussein: “Agizukuma bikalimati Llagyi tamati min kulli shayt1ani wa gyammatin wa min kulli g1ayin lammatin” (I come running for you both to the perfect words of Allah for protection from all the devils, poisonous creatures, as well as from the blaming eye).
9. Constantly pronounce “Bismillah” (with the name of Allah) in all matters and endeavors, which will save us from the evil of the jinn.
10. Perform additional types of worship that strengthen the heart with piety and connect with Allah, for example, voluntary prayers, such as ratibats of obligatory prayers, Witr, Zuha, night vigil, as well as almsgiving, voluntary fasting, etc.
11. Repeatedly ask for forgiveness, read prayers and remembrances of Allah.
12. Ask for Allah’s help from male and female jinn when entering the toilet, which is their gathering place, saying: “Bismillagy Allahyumma inni ag1uzubika minal khubsi wal habaisi.”
13. Having arrived at a new place, you should say: “Ag1uzu bikalimati tammati min sharri ma halaka” (I seek the help of Allah from the evil of what He has created).
14. Remembering Allah repeatedly, thus causing inconvenience to the shaitan.
15. Constantly remain in ablution.
Each of us has a double from the shaitans, and repeated remembrance causes him inconvenience.
- Are there any other specialists in this profile in Dagestan or Russia, besides you?
I don’t know anyone with an ijaza like mine. There are many impostors who do not even know how to read the Koran normally, let alone treat them. There is a center in Chechnya where they provide such treatment. On the instructions of the Mufti, I began to train personnel so that they would be in every district and city.
