Standing higher in the hellish hierarchy than an ordinary demon. The study of these inorganic incorporeal entities is carried out by a special science called demonology. An ordinary person cannot effectively resist a demon without resorting to the help of higher spiritual powers.

How to determine that a demon has possessed a person?
Since demons are fallen angels, and people are the image and likeness of God, satanic efforts are aimed primarily at destruction. Demons descend into hell, report to Satan about the atrocities they have committed, receive instructions and orders, and then return to the surface of the earth.

Macarius the Great, Ignatius Brianchaninov and other saints who have the gift of seeing what is hidden from the eyes of ordinary people note the following: signs of demons:
- Availability subtle etheric body.
- The ability to copy human appearance, talk and feel.
- Ugly, brutal look, indecency that inspires horror.
- Constant birth and development of evil.
- Ability to quickly overcoming space.
Demons are made of a substance that is much finer than the substance of the human body. This gives them a huge advantage in freedom of action, and metaphysical capabilities allow them to penetrate people. Ethereal spirits are initially endowed with powers that powerfully influence the material world.
Demons know the structure and laws of the Universe much better than mere mortals. The gospel stories say a lot about the presence of demons on earth and their cruelest atrocities. Entering people and animals, they subject the victim to terrible torture and become sources of various ailments and diseases. Negative energy affects the mental, sensory, volitional and physical spheres of the human being.
The entrance of demons into the interior of the physical body resembles the movement of air, only the demonic entity is currently in a gaseous state. Mixing with the soul does not occur, but violence can continue for many years and lead to...
Symptoms of demonic damage are different: clouding of mind, fever, feeling of unbearable cold, intoxication. A person loses strength, energy, determination, and can be completely immobilized. He often hears voices calling for murder and self-mutilation, is subject to fits and convulsions, lustful thoughts, and voluptuous dreams. Demons love to imbue their victims with blasphemy, anger, rage, sadness, vanity, and pride.
A good test for the presence of demons in the human body is drinking holy water. Due to the influences exerted on the soul, the possessed person will not drink holy water. A sure diagnostic sign of demonic possession is a ritual using salt. After the person holds the salt in his hands, let him pour it into the frying pan. Heat for 20 minutes and watch the color change. If it turns black, your ward is tormented by a demon.
Ways to fight
In order to defeat a demon, you need to know how it gains access to the soul and the mechanism for moving this evil “tenant” in. To have an enemy within oneself, capable of attracting hordes of demons, means losing vital energy every day and tending to death.
Deprived of the opportunity to make the soul its container, the messenger of the devil seeks to penetrate its physical shell and attack in close proximity. But first, the unclean spirit has to take possession of a person’s mind. When the unfortunate person exposes his mind, not remembering God, losing the protective fear of God, he becomes obsessed with demonism. It is typical for evil spirits to attack those deprived of help and disarmed.
Clairvoyants claim that the demon makes a home in the human body, as if this possession is intended for evil spirits. Gregory the Theologian confirms that the devil takes complete possession of people only when there is no proper resistance. Therefore, to prevent demonism, do not allow the Lord’s special connivance, which is the result of your passions and frivolous sinfulness.
The demon not only inhabits, but takes possession of the individual. External subordination of mental forces to demonic will is much more common than simple demonic possession. Church hierarchs think so, although for an ordinary layman everything looks different. Recently, in many countries, the passion for the love of money has intensified; money is taking over hearts and minds, depriving the most effective way of fighting demons - preventive.
The atoning merits of Christ grant freedom from the power of the devil and enable the demon to be cast out. In the fight against demons, it is highly recommended to use:

Spells
Early in the morning, during the rising Sun, collect water from a clear river or lake. At home, placing water on a flat surface, light a candle purchased at. It is advisable that an icon or cross be installed above the entrance to each room. The mystery of the cross and all the mysteries of the Christian faith commands you to nobility. The high Mother of God, the Virgin Mary, commands you, who struck your most arrogant head from the first moment of her immaculate conception in her humility. The faith of the holy apostles Peter and Paul and the other apostles commands you. The blood of the martyrs and all holy men and women commands you pious intercession.
In Latin
This method can be resorted to only as a last resort, when it is not possible to directly visit the church. For there is a danger of aggression of evil forces towards you. By expelling the demon from the victim, you may become a target for attack. It will be extremely difficult to eject the harmful force from yourself.
During the ritual of exorcism, spells pronounced in Latin help to expel the demon. This should be done by a very trained and protected magician. The sign of the cross, holy water, and incense are used as additions to a very long spell. The first part is designed to expel evil spirits from the human body. It is formulated as follows:
